  It also listed the top region as Alsace, France; Bali, Indonesia; Fernando de Noronha, Brazil; Goa, India;     Koh kong Conservation Corridor, Cambodia; Lake Baikal, Russia; Oaxaca Mexico; Southern Africa, Lake District, England; Southwest Western Australia & the top cities are Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates & others . Like places in the USA in the  west & in Singapore in the Asia region.
  The listing helps in the country or region for more in financial support, advertisement, and also for the Conservation of that region.

Money Making: Selling Water

Water has becom a money making in Kathmandu valley now a days. People can earn money by making water tanker suppliers and starting business with jar water. 
Private tankers carrying drinking water can solve the scarcity of water by storing in underground tanker and are making a good business. The supplies of drinking water alone can generate nearly Rs. 4000000 every months in the valley.
At least 90 drinking water supplies owning nearly 400 tankers, are currently in operation in valley. With the earning from the water business people are paying their children bills, running their household, running the vehicle, etc. comfortably.The earning of each person is around Rs. 60000 per months. The water is bored from well in valley from 30 different places.
The result of this type of drinking water led to some what of scarcity of water and scarcity of underground water.

700 Civilian Participated in Hanumante River Cleaning

About 700 people involved in cleaning the river Hanumente, in Bhaktapur. The Drainage Thermal Plant was not treated for some time, so, all the drainage overflow to the river. Therefore, people are also connecting drainage directly to the river. So, the river was stinking and smell out flow to the villagers to. The people from 700 community in Bharahi region came to the same place and united to clean the river.

They have already cleaned more than one km and made the river area more wider. The people of Metropolitan of Bhaktapur ward no. 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 about 700 people are involved. They have invited all the people by playing Dheme Baja every evening. All the people came with the kuto, kadalo, bancharo and khukuri for participation in cleaning.

The community people argued the metropolitan office to supply necessary requirement and the economic help too, but the office didn't respond at all. The people wont get the any salary and no any food. The cleaning of the river is the challenge for the environment organization.

COP15 UN Climate Change Conference 2009

 The UN Climate Conference collapse on Saturday, 19 Dec 2009 as bitterly divided delegates agreed to recognise a political compromise that US with china and other GHG emerging powers.

 It is said that it is not the final agreement but was a beginning. The meet was dominated by the two countries, US and China the world biggest carbon polluters.

Decisions are mad by consensus in UN climate negotiations, producing a document promising $30 billion in emergency climate aid to poor nations in the next three years and a goal of eventually channeling $100 billion a year by 2020 to developing countries.

Bird Watching and BCN Day Celebration


The BCN organized a bird watching on the auspicious occasion of the BCN Day. On that program organizer and the participant went to the spot on 24th April 2010 at about 8am on Phulchoki Bus park. Then the team went up to Phulchoki Kunda and took the breakfast. While taking the break fast the team was divided into 4 groups to go for Bird Watching on nearby Forest in the different location.


The different groups went for watching the bird and returned to the celebration spot. Some of the picture are posted herewith.

CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK


Chitwan National Park is centrally located covering the area of 932 Sq. km. of  Narayani Zone, Nepal. It covers the area comprising Tikauli Forest to Rapti river to foot hill of Mahabharat Range.  It was listed in the World Heritage Site in 1984. The surrounding area was decleared as buffer zone in forest and private land in 1996. The community people and the park manage the natural resources in buffer zone.

In the park it consist of a diversity of ecosystems, which includes Churia Hills, Narayani River, Ox-Bow lakes, etc.We can find different mammals and reptiles such as One-horned rhinocereros, Royal Bengal Tiger, Wild elephant, Fourhorned antelope, Python, etc.We find birds like Bengal Florican, lesser florican, giant hornbill, etc.
